MISSIONSamaritan House collaborates with public, non-profit and interfaith agencies to provide a continuum of care to those in crisis due to homelessness and poverty while seeking social transformation by identifying and addressing the causes of poverty at the local level.
HISTORYThe Samaritan House has served the region for over thirty-five years, growing from an overnight transient facility to its present status as a vital part of the community. Providing emergency food and shelter, transitional housing and support, food supplies to individuals in need, and affordable used clothing and household goods through the thrift store. Samaritan House continues to be the main non-profit agency addressing poverty issues in San Miguel County.
